MeeksWorld.com (“we,” “our,” or “us”) operates a Discord membership upgrade service that lets you purchase cosmetic and access roles for our Discord server. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use the service and how we use it.

Information We Collect

Discord Account Data

When you log in with Discord OAuth, we receive your Discord user ID, username and display name, profile avatar, and the email address associated with your Discord account.

IP Address

We log your IP address at the time of sign-in and at the time of purchase for security, fraud prevention, and abuse protection purposes.

Payment Information

Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. We retain a Stripe customer reference, your purchase and subscription records (plan, amount, status), and related identifiers needed to manage your entitlements.

Usage and Technical Data

We store authentication session cookies to keep you logged in, and we record webhook and purchase events needed to grant or remove Discord roles and keep your entitlements in sync.

How We Use Your Information

• Authenticate you via Discord OAuth and maintain your session.
• Grant or remove Discord roles based on active purchases and subscriptions.
• Keep your entitlements in sync after payment events (renewals, cancellations, refunds).
• Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized chargebacks.
• Send internal purchase and refund notifications to a private staff channel in our Discord server.

Who We Share Data With

We share your data only with the following sub-processors necessary to operate the service. We do not sell your data.

• Discord: authentication and role management via their API.
• Stripe: payment processing, subscription billing, and refunds.
• Convex: our backend infrastructure and database host.

Data Retention

We retain membership and payment records for as long as your account or entitlements are active, or as long as necessary for fraud prevention and record-keeping obligations. If you request deletion, some payment records may still be retained by Stripe in accordance with their own policies.

Your Choices

You can stop using the service at any time. To request removal of your data, reach us in our Discord server. We will process your request in accordance with applicable law, subject to Stripe’s retention requirements for payment records.

Children

The service is not directed to children under 13 (or the applicable minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us data, please contact us via our Discord server.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects when the latest changes were made. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
